In what neighbourhood do you want to stay?
Silom: Financial and office district. Plenty of street food, home of the large night market, some very interesting restaurants, close to Lumpini park, good connection with skytrain. The largest gay area and the red light district are around the corner.
Sukhumvit: A district full of shopping possibilities and popular with business travellers. It has all types of restaurants, all possible types of bars, nightlife and luxury hotels. There is good connection with skytrain to other parts of the city.
Siam: This is the heart of the shopping disctrict and very central. You can go crazy between the designer boutiques, the shopping malls and the family attractions in the area There is very good connection with skytrain to other parts of the city.
Khao San: is the well known backpackers disctrict. It's a packed with cheap stays, cheap restaurants, boutiques, interesting café's and bars, and a crazy nightlife. The neighbourhood is working very hard to upgrade hotels and hostals for families with airconditioning and nice swimming pools.
Riverside Bang Rak: Life in Bangkok is lived on the rhythm of the Chao Praya River. The bus-boats take you from here to the old town and the Royal Palace. You'll find The River City Shopping Complex in this area, a shopping mall with antiques and collectables.

Siam @ Siam Design Hotel - Siam
This hotel has a great location for shopping and enjoying life in the city, only a few minutes away from the shopping malls and the National Stadion BTS (Skytrain station). The rooms are very stylish in warm, darker colours and spatious. The staff is exceptionally helpful. There is a rooftop pool and rooftop bar annex restaurant. There are only 2 elevators for guests and this creates sometimes waiting time.

Hotel Trinity Silom - Silom
This hotel has a very convenient location in Silom area only a 2 minute walk to Silom road, plenty of street food around and 2 minute walk to Chong Nonsi BTS (Skytrain station). The rooms are clean and spatious, the staff friendly and helpfull. The hotel has a large pool (on the oposite buiding).

iResidence - Silom
This boutique hotel has a very convenient location in Silom area, with a 1 minute walk to Chong Nonsi BTS (Skytrain station). The hotel has a small outdoor pool on the rooftop! The rooms are clean, but in need for some small repairs. We have noticed issues with the warm water, but I shower cold in Thailand anyway.
